Reporting directly to the European Key Account Director, your main responsibilities will include: - Develop business growth and manage the relationship between CHEP and a portfolio of pan European accounts - Develop and execute a mutually agreed and strategic European customer plan to increase potential business in line with the commercial policy of CHEP - Increase customer satisfaction and customer value added benefits - Produce and implement a business plan for each account within the account portfolio, supporting CHEP strategic plans and ensuring consistency and commercial integrity of CHEP's approach across Europe - Monitor and evaluate revenue performance, account profitability, growth and cash management for each of the pan European accounts, against predeveloped targets consistent with the budgeting process in each country - Introduce new initiatives in line with the commercial policy - Annual strategy participation and execution - Self development as well as the successful development of new team members Our ideal candidate has: - A University degree (Mathematical/Scientific/Commercial/Marketing) or equivalent - Excellent negotiation, sales & customer service skills - An up-to-date knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems - Business acumen, relevant functional/technical skills and decision making qualities - A strong focus on results, organizing, customers, peer relationships, motivating others, process management combined with an interpersonal savvy and healthy patience - A minimum of 4 years working experience in a customer facing role in a service company where analysis and business development was a key success factor - Worked with financial measures and KPIs - Achieved results in a cross-cultural environment - Worked successfully in a matrix structure - Fluency in German and English, French is advantageous Michael Page Contact : Your application will be sent to Steven Van Tuijl (Zurich office), please quote the job reference VSVA27441.
