Reporting to the General Manager, Turkey and the European CFO, the chosen candidate will be responsible for the financial functions of Maquet in Turkey, including, but not limited to: - General accounting (Turkish law and IFRS) fulfilling all requirements in connection with free trade zone (taxes, duties, book keeping, etc) and treasury (AP, AR, credit, cash management) - Cost accounting and cost centre management, product calculation, checking manufacturing variances, federal, state and local tax reporting, experience in manufacturing facilities - Working closely with auditing company during closing period - Comparing and analyzing actual figures vs. planned figures - Monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to management and headquarter according to IFRS - Defining and managing internal and external controls including assurance that the company is in compliance with all corporate regulations and expectations - Annual budgeting process, analysis of current work process and lead cross functional teams to improve quality, reduce cycle time, working capital and costs - Responsible for administrative and contractual HR issues - Responsible for all IT matters. A degree in Business Administration or Economics from a reputable University is a must; CPA, MBA or CMA a plus. Experience required: - Controller level experience for 50 - 200 m Euro business unit within a multinational company - At least 5 years management experience within a manufacturing environment - Background from an international audit company - Good knowledge of MS Office applications, accounting software, SAP R3 experience would be an asset - Experience with continuous improvement methods including defining and implementing key business metrics to measure performance (Green / Black belt certification is an asset). The ideal candidate must be able to plan set objectives, prioritize, measure performance, provide direction and build a culture of employee involvement at all levels. He/she must have superb analytical skills and business acumen in order to assess strategic opportunities to execute tactically. He/she must be innovative in terms of identifying business opportunities and must have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline oriented environment. Fluent English is mandatory.
