Controlling & Finance Division is a key part of the European organisation and is responsible for the management of accounting and finance operations of TME (RDMC - Research, Development and Manufacturing Company/EMCs - European Manufacturing Companies & TMME - Toyota Motore Marketing Europe/NMSCs - National Marketing and Sales Companies) There are 6 main Departments in Brussels: 1. Manufacturing Group Controlling: R&D/Manufacturing group (RDMC/EMCs) cost control, cost planning & vehicle profit management, self billing and inventory management receiving 2. Sales Group Controlling : Sales group (TMME/NMSCs) planning, reporting & sales expenses control, NMSC support; 3. Accounting & Accounting service: TME group accounting (incl. RDMC UK office); 4. Treasury: TME Group treasury and insurance; 5. Tax: TME Group corporate income tax & tax payable, VAT, customs operations; 6. Consolidated Profit Management : TME Group consolidated profit management, policies & procedures, audit, FSS. You will be member of the Research & Development/Manufacturing Group (RDM Group) Reporting & Budgeting Department. Your responsibilities: - Prepare RDM Group accounts on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis based upon individual accounts prepare by each EMC; - Report the results of RDM Group and its subsidiaries to Toyota Motor Corporation (iFEM reporting); - Analyze and explain variances against budget and prior year of European Manufacturing Companies accounts; - Prepare monthly reports and EMCs results and RDM Group for management and TMC; - Involved in manufacturing cost control improvement activities; - Group Budgeting: . Coordinate RDM Group budgets: setting guidelines, schedules, assumptions, etc.; . Consolidate / summarize submissions made by EMCs; . Preparation of reports for management and TMC; . Lead and coordinate periodic update of company budget and forecast; . Lead and coordinate long term business plan. - You have a relevant University degree; - You have a management accounting background in a team; - You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in multi-national group; - You have ideally a first experience with budget preparation (manufacturing environment an asset but not mandatory); - You are fluent in English; - You have advanced knowledge of Excel and Access; - You are flexible and well organized (many various tasks); - You are able to work independently, to manage small projects involving other people; - You are able to work under stress (monthly closing, budgeting,...) - You are willing to travel around 5% of your time.
