| Description |
You will join a team of 9 accounting professionals and report to the department manager. As SPV accountant, you will : - Be in charge of the administration of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) - Prepare the accounts from A to Z (ie.: daily booking, trial balance up to financial statement) - Prepare the monthly management accounts for consolidation - Comply to all the expectations and dead-lines fixed by the clients - Maintain contact with all the stakeholders (Investment Managers, Trustees and Banks) and liaise with external parties (auditors, tax advisors, etc.) - Ensure appropriate Inter-company reconciliations - Prepare Budgets & Forecasts and analyze variations - Handle all the tax assessments - Deal with the everyday improving of processes (Debtors / creditors analysis, other analytical reviews, internal controls, etc.) - You hold a bachelor Degree in accounting - You have significant professional experience in complex structures, structured Finance and/or SPV accounting, ideally in Luxembourg - You have a good understanding of IFRS accounting policies as well as business and accounting issues surrounding securitisation - You have a basic knowledge in VAT and other corporate taxation matters - You are at ease on Office softwares, in particular on Excel - You have excellent Word and Excel skills - You are Fluent in English, and have a good knowledge of German. - You are organised and able to work on own initiative - You are thorough and service minded, with strong interpersonal and communication skills - You are a real team builder and leader: You have good managerial skills and can coordinate the activities of others What's on offer : Competitive salary package Michael Page Contact : Your application will be sent to Nelodya Pothuwila (Luxembourg office), please quote the job reference LPON499606.
