You will manage a team between 5 to 10 persons and report directly to the COO. For this mission you will have the following responsibilities: - Management of the Operations team and all related tasks consisting of Fund Administration, Database Mgt as well as IT / Security. - Propose, implement and control new processes and initiatives to improve the day-to-day activity - Ensure thorough, error free shadow accounting / valuation processing of all monthly related tasks ie control / reconciliations of shareholders investments, trades, forex hedging, cash etc. - Annual financial reporting of all funds - ensure calendar is met / coordinated amongst the several parties involved in the process (auditors, administrators, custodians, board members). Sign off on all audited financials on behalf of the investment manager as well as present these at the board meetings - Management of the IT, Security team and all related projects for the investment manager as a whole. - Active involvement in any corporate strategy project The successful candidate will be have proven experience in operations management within the hedge fund industry as well as a solid managerial and leadership track record within the financial services sector. Combined with an excellent market knowledge and business understanding, the candidate also has a hands-on, pragmatic, flexible and problem solving personality. The candidate is a fluent English speaker with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
