As the Senior Accounting Analyst you will be part of Goodyear's Finance division, in the accounting team of Goodyear Luxembourg. You will work closely with the General Accounting manager. - You should understand the company's accounting policies, ensure its correct application, and monitor compliance to local rules / regulations. - You will participate actively in the monthly closures, advise on correct general ledger accounts for transactions, complete complex reconciliations. - You will help prepare the accounts of 5 entities. You will analyzes financial reports and records, make studies or recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures. - You will act as contact point for third parties, in particular external auditors. You will prepare the necessary documentation and assist in their audit. - You will contribute in testing and improving processes and internal controls: S-Ox testing, make recommendations, participate in the resolution of any identified problems. - You will work on ad hoc projects: investigate / gather information for local region and corporate purposes, create /implement analytical controlling and reporting tools, review adjustments from US GAAP to local Gaap. - You have an accounting related education (at least bachelor level). - You have at least 3 years experience in finance in an audit practice or in a multinational commercial or manufacturing company. - You are fluent in French and have a good command of English. Fluency in any other language is an asset. - You are at ease on information systems, in particular on Excel and SAP. - You have very good communication & leadership skills and very good team spirit. - You are proactive and like taking initiatives and be responsible.
