| Description |
Create cost-effective awareness for the brand and products by establishing a solid and engaging communications platform. Maximise return on investment of awareness programmes. The range of responsibilities will be in the areas of: programme planning and management, crisis management, media/analyst relations, EMEA leadership & coordination, events and budget. - Plan & execute communications programmes for the EMEA region to support business targets - Develop PR tools such as press releases, white papers, press briefings, press conferences etc. - Liaise with local PR interfaces & regional interfaces within worldwide organisation - Lead external service supplier (e.g. PR agencies, freelancer ) to create & execute projects - Manage PR crises in the EMEA region to avoid negative public perception - Lead & coordinate all involved parties in internal & external communications processes - Coordinate relationship with Pan-European analysts & media representatives - Advise local subsidiaries & distributor organisations in managing PR related subjects to improve impact & operational efficiency - Support and management of selected pan-EMEA/global events (CES, CeBIT, IFA) and local events - Define & control sub-budgets in all described areas/duties - University degree or optional long term experience as journalist - More than 5 years of working experience in a PR department or PR agency - Experience executing awareness campaigns - Understanding of and enthusiasm for marketing in social networks (Web 2.0) - Affinity to IT market & products/solutions - Excellent English language skills (spoken and written) - Professional communication skills in international environments - Excellent strategic and creative mindset - Strong personality, excellent presentation skills - Service oriented, team player mentality, hands-on in daily business issues - Fully capable of working with Microsoft office software Michael Page Contact : Your application will be sent to Nils Königs (Dusseldorf office), please quote the job reference SDNK105044.
