Due to the high growth of the company and the importance given to the Internal Audit function, there is an opening for young, talented, dedicated, hard-working and enthusiastic professionals to implement financial internal control framework. The purpose of the division is to ensure that the business keeps in line with set practice, corporate policies, financial reporting standards and compliance requirements. You will directly report to the internal audit supervisor Duties and Responsibilities : - To work with management to ensure a system is in place which ensures that all major risks are identified and analysed; - To plan, organise and carry out internal audits, including the preparation of an audit plan, scheduling, assigning work and estimating resources needs; - To ensure compliance with risk management policy, procedures and relevant laws and regulations - To make recommendations on the systems and procedures being reviewed, report on the findings and recommendations; - To review and report on the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of the financial and other information that is provided for management; - To be responsible for on-going compliance testing and ad-hoc project work under the guidance of the Internal Audit Manager. - To advice on improving the group's internal controls - A recognized professional qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, IIA) or equivalent; - Thorough knowledge of the principles, procedures and practices of accounting and financial records and transactions - A first experience in a BIG4 or will be appreciated - A knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques tests and sampling methods involved in conducting audits - An ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports; - An ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with other staff of the organisation and to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing; - An ability to work unsupervised. - Ambitious and real wish to progress in a transnational group. - Open to travel +/-80% of your time. - Knowledge about IFRS is an asset Avantages divers : competitive salary package Millicom International Cellular S.A. is a global telecommunication investor with cellular operations in Asia, Latin America and Africa and operates under the brand name of Tigo.
