Creating value and cost efficiency are two important pillars of our strategy, so finance is a top priority for ING. For the Finance track we are seeking ambitious heavyweights interested in strategy, management accounting and financial accounting. Your output is seen at the highest levels in the organization and involves sensitive data that can contain 'hot news' for the outside world. We expect you to be able to comfortable and capable of operating in both these internal and external environments. Your work varies from analysis of complex financial questions to drawing up reports and issuing advice. You help to devise the development of new financial products and estimate their profitability. You also get the opportunity to contribute to the compilation of the quarterly figures and our annual report. Divisions you will be working for: ING Group Corporate Control & Finance and the financial divisions of Postbank, ING Bank, Nationale-Nederlanden, ING Direct, ING Lease, ING Investment Management and ING Real Estate. - Master's degree, preferably in a financial or economics background with at least one year work experience. The Finance track is open to Dutch and English-speaking candidates; - Organisational, personal or managerial skills; - You are an enterprising individual with loads of initiative; - Strong affinity with and motivation for the financial services; - Good command of English; - Excellent communication skills; - Analytically and intellectually strong; - Customer-focused and result-oriented; - Ambitious and managerial aspirations; - You have self confidence and empathy with the company, understanding the influence and consequences of your decisions on other parts of the company.
