Your responsibilities will be : - Responsible for managing the general accounting - General Ledger Accounting for Corporate office and subsidiaries - Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closures - Manage relationship with outside auditors - Manage relationship with other critical finance vendors - Reconciliation of withholding taxes for subsidiaries - Preparation of VAT declarations The candidate should have the following capabilities : - Degree in Accounting or Finance, CA or CPA (Accountant Certified) a definitive plus - More than 5 years proven experience in operational accounting with multinational companies - Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. German or Swiss accounting principles will be a plus. - Team Player - displaying the highest professional standards - Strategic thinker - Preferably familiar with tax - ENGLISH AND GERMAN ARE A MUST, some French will be a plus - Computer literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet/cc:Mail, etc.) Your application will be sent to Lavinia Abbott (Geneva Office).
