-Provide experts assessment and proposal of likely benefits of new products and how these might be assessed -Provide experts assessments on scientific/medical opportunities within and beyond the current category scope (i.e. identification of potential future trends) -Assess third party offers for both products and clinical sponsoring -Scientific summary/review presentation of BCC relevant topics/issues -Establish working contacts to internal/external experts/KOL's -Oversee/steer investigator led/sponsor trials -Steer CCDS and drug label development/renewal process, assuring responsible communications to both consumers and health professionals. -Education: in natural sciences (either Pharm. D, PhD, or M.D.) -Experience: a minimum of 5 years industry experience in a medical/clinical environment required. -a nutritionals background through education/experience is absolutely essential for this role. -Experienced in managing medical affairs issues and with the design and conduct of clinical studies. -In-depth knowledge of regulations and laws governing Rx and OTC drugs, including ICH-GCP, is required. -Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams as team player, being creative, open minded, communicative. -Creativity, innovation, judgment and initiative, as well as effective influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution in a matrixed organization are required to be successful in this position.
