Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, you will be responsible for: - sourcing, product developing and cost reduction programmes - covering sourcing aspects in business strategies - supporting Low Cost Country sourcing programmes as needed - representing sourcing in project reviews - developing a commercially and geographically optimised supplier base - defining, developing and deploying sourcing strategy in cooperation with operational units - improving relationships with both internal and external partners The ideal candidate for this high-profile position has: - a university or equivalent degree in Engineering - additional Education in Sourcing/Procurement is strongly appreciated - experience in both sourcing and project management - minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar field - fluency with MS Office applications and ERP systems (preferably SAP) - excellent analytical and negotiation skills - strong communication and planning skills - fluent in English (written and spoken) mandatory - fluency in German is considered a strong plus - French language capabilities would be advantageous MICHAEL PAGE CONTACT : Your application wil be sent to Jennifer Smith (Zurich Office) Please quote the job reference RJSM19212 Our client is a global key player in the Energy sector with over 40,000 employees worldwide.
