The European Central AP Manager has overall responsibility for all central elements of the Accounts Payable process in Europe. Leading a team of approximately 20 people, the manager is responsible for: ·The central scanning and indexing of all inventory-related invoices on behalf of the European subsidiaries ·Central payments process for selected European vendors ·Central management of the financial aspects of certain European vendor relationships including identification and delivery of opportunities to improve financial terms & conditions from vendors ·Identification and implementation of best practices (systems and processes) in accounts payable. This will include close liaison with country CFOs and teams and leadership of the European AP User Group. ·Monthly, Quarterly as well as ad hoc reporting regarding A/P You have the following characteristics: .You have a finance related degree. .You will be fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of any other languages is an asset .You dispose of a thorough working knowledge of accounts payable processes acquired through operational experience in a high volume, multi-currency AP environment .You are an experienced team manager with at least 2 years experience of working in a multi-country AP environment ·You have broad business experience and understanding (good commercial awareness) ·You dispose of a good grounding in financial systems (ideally with experience of implementations and upgrades) .Strong negotiating and influencing skills including; ability to deal with people remotely ·Good team player combined with strong people management and leadership skills ·Comfortable managing and working on multiple projects at the same time ·Change management experience; comfortable with change, including implementation of change initiatives ·Capable of continued progression within the IM organization ·To be decisive and innovative ·Knowledge of systems ·Experience of complex accounting packages (IM staff - working knowledge of Impulse) ·Filenet or other document management system knowledge an advantage ·Working knowledge of Access Database tools or similar ·Exposure to data mining tools such as Monarch ·Advanced Excel skills ·Working knowledge of other MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word) ·SAP knowledge would be an asset MICHAEL PAGE CONTACT : Your application will be sent to Ine Maessen (Belgium Office), please quote the reference BFIM500270 Ingram Micro Europe is a division of the world's largest IT distributor, Ingram Micro Inc.
