Main Responsabilities: - Ensure that Group, statutory and fiscal accounts are prepared timely and accurately in compliance with Lux Gaap, corporate guidance materials, legal and fiscal regulations. - Ensure ethical standards are maintained. - Advise, guide and support the implementation to all divisions of uniformity of financial accounting systems; ensure that modifications in systems and procedures due to changes in legal, fiscal and corporate requirements are coordinated; maintain the integrity of legal entity and fiscal accounting while minimizing expense to effect such changes. - Prepare monthly financial and fiscal reports and forecasts for all Lux entities. - Ensure that the Lux legal entities comply with fiscal compliance regulations whilst minimizing its fiscal liability. - Handle day-to-day in country contact with external auditors, tax advisors - Provide administrative, accounting, fiscal compliance support. - Coordinate and act as a consultant on Lux tax, VAT and compliance matters. - Support Lux2/4 treasury specialist in key daily/monthly activities. - Act as a full operational 'back-up' to the Lux2/4 Treasury Specialist on bank reconciliations. Inter-company reconciliations, FX exposure analysis, MEC processes, Quantum set-up. The candidate must have gained at least 5 years of experience with a public accounting or law firm or within a similar function in the tax and legal affairs department of a major international company. Experience in mergers and acquisitions is a must. The candidate should have an understanding of transfer pricing concepts.
