This high-profile role is critical to our client's financial reporting and its International Finance organization. The position holder will report to the Head of Accounting Research within the International Consolidation department and be mainly responsible for: - Technical accounting research and implementation of US GAAP/SEC regulations. - Responding to complex accounting questions on a variety of issues from over 200 affiliates around the world. - Actively participating on complex and significant accounting projects involving due diligence and acquisition balance sheet work. - Preparing and implementing accounting policies, procedures and guidelines. - Supporting a global U.S. GAAP training program. This role represents a fantastic career opportunity offering development within the HQ finance function or operational finance within affiliates worldwide. The successful candidate will: - Be a licensed U.S. C.P.A. - Have at least 6 years overall experience, with at least 3 years in a Big 4 firm; established experience in a MNC's Controller's department is a major plus. - Exhibit a very high level of technical US GAAP/SEC knowledge and proven application; IFRS is a plus. - Demonstrate exposure to due diligence projects/acquisitions. Additionally, candidates must offer the ability to work independently and in teams, strong communication skills and the ability to work to and manage tight deadlines.
