Our Client is looking to recruit a IS/IT Project Director to lead the SAP project worldwide from initial scoping to full implementation ensuring that the organisation realises the anticipated business benefits within the agreed timeframes and budgets. The role reports directly to the Finance Director and must establish excellent relationships with key stakeholders, including the Project Sponsor. Work with the CIO and the Executive Management Team to shape and align the SAP project scope and the associated business benefits. Develop the success measures and the benefit realisation schedule by which the project will be assessed. Establish and agree the appropriate benefits tracking mechanisms. Build a deep understanding of the business need, technology impact and coordinating efforts required to deliver a successful implementation and a sustainable system thereafter. Build and lead the SAP project scope, steps and team,. Ensure the team has clarity around project, purpose, roles, team working approaches, performance expectations & feedback. Build the capability of the team to deliver against plan - resources and competence. -Degree Qualification. -At least 10 Years Post Experience. -Sound experience and proven track record of successful delivery as a Project Director/Manager on large/complex IT infrastructure/application development projects. -Strong knowledge of SAP and IS related fields. -Experience of successfully leading change in complex, matrixed & international environments. -Broad based business background is desirable (i.e. experience of working in a production or Finance based environment in a variety of industries) -High personnality and Personal Impact, capable of establishing personal credibility at all levels. -Stong leadership skills including coaching and development. -Excellent relationship management skills. -Excellent communication skills. -Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. -Financial and Distribution acumen.
