The International Corporate Tax Specialist will, under coordination of the International Tax Manager, assist Schneider Electric's Corporate tax group in each of the following areas: · Tax internal controls - ensure that all tax internal control policies are met, · Participation, with Schneider Electric's Corporate and U.S. tax groups and the businesses, in development, implementation, and maintenance of tax efficient transfer pricing policies. Working, with outside advisors when necessary, in preparing appropriate transfer pricing documentation studies, · Work with Schneider Electric Corporate tax team on implementation of Group's management fees and intellectual property policies, · Participating with Schneider Electric's Corporate tax group in the feasibility studies and implementation of local and international tax planning strategies. Provide M&A assistance as needed. The International Tax Specialist will report to the International Tax Manager and will work closely with other Corporate, U.S. and foreign Schneider Electric affiliates to ensure all tax reporting and planning projects are properly implemented and completed. Person will be localized in Brussels, Belgium. Some amount of international travel will be necessary. - You have at least 2 years of tax experience, preferably gained in a Corporate Tax Department in an international firm or within a Big Four's tax counsel, - You have as a minimum a Bachelor's Degree, - You are perfectly fluent in English. French is an advantage, - Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills combined with a sound understanding of the tax implications of a multi-national manufacturing company is ideal.
