Manage complex projects (60%) - Understand quickly a situation and propose quick solutions, - Identify potential issues within the area he / she is working in, - Liaise with other departments for projects coordination, - Handle responsibilities for creating official reports and tools for top managers, - Ensure all project implementation is done effectively, - Add value to existing work done. Regarding system testing (20% FTE). - Understand current processes and workflows, - Work on IT issues, - Adapt system requirements to operational context. - BAU Support (20% FTE). - Continue development of business knowledge through support of BAU activity, mostly in non-routine tasks - Develop tools for improved understanding of processes and system flows - Assist Financial Controller in project management of Finance team small change projects. In this position, you will have a high level of visibility within the organisation and there is a good potential for career progression. Education and professional qualifications - Post-secondary education with finance or economics specialisation - International experience Professional experience and business exposure Minimum 2 years in either: - Consulting / internal audit for financial institutions, funds, insurance companies, - Project management in financial institutions, - Other project related functions in finance or operations departments. Technical skills and languages - High to very high level in core Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). - Fluent in English and French. Personal attributes - Proactive, inventive, rigorous and "entrepreneur", - Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines, - Strong analytical and communication skills, - Important critical sense, - Able to work by himself as well as in a team, - Quick thinker and hard worker, - At ease with numbers, statistics - Curious and ambitious.
