| Description |
As Business Development Manager Industry, you will report to the Industry Sales Manager EMEA and will be in charge of 3 to 6 major accounts in the EMEA Region. Through a good technical understanding (process industry) of the client's drivers for process optimisation, you have to convince client's through proposition of inovative solutions, creating opportunities for future collaboration. You will be able to develop the sales strategy to reach your objectives, but also on the other side to manage the machine builders during the project. The variety of work can best be described as follows: SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION: · Identification of potential client, analyse and identification of process optimisation opportunities through Rockwell Technology. · Account ownership for assigned Key Industry Accounts (pricing, collateral sales, technical support, development of innovative solutions,...). · Constantly monitor performance of account portfolio against Rockwell Automation's global account criteria and recommend quarterly Key Industry Accounts suitable for promotion / demotion. · Establish Global Network (Sales & Technical support) to ensure 100% coverage of customers key plants - guide / coordinate / support local activities. · Produce annual sales and development plans and report on regular progress throughout the year. · Call on Key Industry Accounts to represent Rockwell Automation capabilities, close orders and drive growth in excess of regional Operating Plans. · Manage all Rockwell Automation activities to assure application of the Disciplined Sales Process and consistency of the deliverables to the Key Industry Accounts plants. · Ensure that the Key Industry Account has access to all Rockwell Automation resources · Communicate information to the Key Industry Accounts regarding Rockwell Automation new products to develop sales oppportunities. · Drive Rockwell Automation and third party resources to position products to fulfill specific customer needs and close orders. · Participate in the early stages of projects to provide control/information input and recommend strategies/tactics to optimally develop the Key Account. · Lead the effort to elevate Rockwell Automation visibility within the given industry through participation in industry oriented professional organizations, trade press, shows, and conferences. · Identify and qualify industry trends and customer issues, than creatively map them into customer centric solutions that deliver Economic Value Add to the client · Demonstrates Industry Sales leadership throughout the organization to create and achieve strategic and tactical objectives. Motivates team members and others within the organization toward achieving established goals. · Actively supports new Rockwell Automation and business unit programs; helps key stakeholders understand the business context for change.
