Reporting Hierarchically to the Managing Director, Western Europe and Operationally to the Group CFO, as Finance Director Western Europe, you will be in charge of the following tasks : Organize, coordinate and implement, in compliance with legislation and the group policy, the technical and human resources needed for the realization of accounting, financial and administrative operations for the company and warrant its compliance and regularity. Ensure a quality reporting at group level. This coordination is at a regional level (Western Europe). The responsibility of this function includes therefore Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and Italy. In particular you will be responsible for next duties: - Participate in the business life of the region, bringing knowledge regarding: contract, economic study, investment, project revues, cost analysis, taxation law, legislation changes, - Control general and analytical accounting and optimizes the cash flow structure, according to the group's best interest, - Elaborate yearly budgets; carry out monthly follow-ups; produce the management reports; analysis and explain the variances and issues; all the above within the group timeframe at the request of both the division and the local managing director, - Warrant the compliance to group procedures as well as the compliance with local legislation vis-à-vis third parties and other group company, amongst colleagues and management, - Personnel issues related to (in-house rules, contracts and files) for the region, - Implement and follow up the credit management in order to successfully understand the customer credit risk and reduce financial burden/weight, - Deliver on time all the administrative and accounting information requested by the various services of the group, - Make all the financial audit and one time mission requested by the job, - Maintain and develop the individual and collective competences and motivations necessary for the good performance of the service, - Organize and control the activity of the department colleagues in the region, - Give objectives and targets to direct reports and follow up regularly on progress, - Actively participate in all continuous improvement projects of the company, - Promote and encourage any positive change within the company and particularly advise internal functions with good controlling and managing practices, - Take part in the division meeting aimed at information sharing and improving best practice, - Be able to replace the managing director when he is not in or when delegated by him, - Autonomous when delegation has been given by the managing director, - Can't hire, mute, promote or take punitive action without referring to his hierarchy for personnel he is in charge of.
